Welcome to the Northwest Archaeology and History Project.

Transforming data into history

At NWAHP, we draw upon extensive experience in Cultural Resource Management, academic research, teaching, and scholarly writing to provide clients with distinguished consulting services. Our expertise encompasses the management of large-scale cultural resource compliance projects, award-winning historical research, and publication in leading peer-reviewed journals.

We are dedicated to delivering comprehensive, tailored solutions that address the unique requirements of each project.

Whether you need full management support for your cultural resource project, a small team of experienced personal for field operations, assistance with specialized research, or strategies to enhance the interpretive impact of your projects. We invite you to collaborate with us to effectively navigate the complexities inherent in your endeavors.

As part of our mission to expand access to professional development, NWAHP also produces rigorous training resources grounded in our team’s proven expertise in fieldwork and statistical, chronological, and lithic analyses. These offerings are available as customizable skill-building tracks or in-person workshops, covering advanced data analysis, mapping, field recording, lithic analysis, and graphics production.

Additionally, to promote greater visibility of Pacific Northwest history, we produce an ongoing, informal video series (—available on YouTube at Northwest Archaeology and History Project - YouTube—) featuring accessible yet scholarly summaries of the region’s rich archaeological heritage. The Pacific Northwest is home to some of the world's most significant, though often under-recognized, archaeological histories.
